I finished editing and emailed the podcast to Aaron. He'll be uploading it in a bit. Thanks to you, our three fans who appear to be from around the world!
Ok, I get why you can't subscribe, and it's no big deal, don't worry about it. I think that I mentioned something again in this episode about subscribing, so you can just disregard that.
Anyways, how the hell did you end up discovering our show?!?
Aleck's blog
It's finally done
Posted June 10th, 2010 by AleckWe could never hope to be this good
Posted May 28th, 2010 by AleckThis is fucking amazing. The two (3) of us could never hope to be as good as this one reviewer:
This Is Adorable!!!!
Posted August 20th, 2008 by AleckI should point out that this is an example of everything that we are against. It is a video game ad comprised entirely of pre-rendered video That means that this has no gameplay footage in it at all, and is a very deceptive way to sell a game.
That being said, I think that this is really cute, and have been watching it over and over!
This Is Important
Posted November 30th, 2007 by AleckThis was over at kotaku, and you should read it:

This relates to the very importat issue that we've discussed in the past regarding how trustworthy big name game review websites are. That being said, I'm starting to really doubt IGN's review of Mass Effect. Sure, it's a great game, but you can clearly feel that there is a lot missing from it and there are all those technical issues:

The Cult of Rapture Provides
Posted October 29th, 2007 by AleckSo, this arrived in the mail today totally out of the blue...

...and inside I found this awesome surprise:

The week that Bioshock was released, I registered over at the 2K games forums to discuss the game soundtrack. I also noticed a post from someone that worked there saying that they still had some give-aways left, but don't get your hopes up because there are no guarantees. Here it is at least a month later and this Bioshock shirt arrived, and they even had it in my size.
Way to go 2K Games, you've bought my love.
Damn You XBOX Live
Posted October 24th, 2007 by AleckI have been dreading that this day would come...XBOX live has deemed my gamertag offensive and is requiring that I change it. For the past four years I have been know as Do Your Sister. I'm pretty sure that I am being prompted to change it due to their feedback system, where you can go and flag someone's name as offensive. That coupled with my masive amounts of shit-talking have put me in this position. I like to think that I do a more unique and favorable kind of shit-talking... I never claim to be better than anybody else... I simply make copious amounts of homo-erotic innuendo, and insult opponents mothers.
My problem is that I am only a player of average skill and there are plenty of people who are better than me, so it has been my unique name that has garnered me the online friends that I have. Thusly I must strive to make my new name as equally though provoking as my previous one. However, I am also considering simply making a slight variation to my previous name in order to slip it by the automated system.
I am truly devastated by this ordeal.
New Bionic Commando
Posted October 18th, 2007 by AleckOne of my favorite NES games when I was a kid was Bionic Commando. This was due mostly to the fact that you used a cybernetic-extending-grappling arm to fight Nazis. I still don't understand why that idea hasn't been fleshed out and utilized more in the 20 some odd years since the game first came out.

You would use said arm to swing from rooftops and ledges, and it was so much fun. You could even forgo shooting people with your gun and opt for the more demented option of ramming your arm into them until they fell off a ledge.
However, the best part of the game was the fact that the final boss was Robo-Hitler. In fact, I just read that in Japan the game was even called "Top Secret: The Resurrection of Hitler"

They are now remaking the game and I want to go on record and say that even though it looks pretty cool on the surface, if Robo-Hitler dones't make an appearance, then the game is a failure... and they just wasted their time making it.
I would be so much more excited if the announcement said "Top Secret: The Resurrection of Hitler 2 Coming Soon to the XBOX 360"
.
I Love The Companion Cube
Posted October 16th, 2007 by AleckWell I just finished Portal last night. I cannot explain enough how amazing that game got towards the end. I'm looking forward to discussing it on the next podcast. I will not be giving out any spoilers because I feel like the stuff that happens it just too cool to ruin. Just know that the cake is a lie and only the Companion Cube truly cares for you...
Is Resident Evil 5 Racist?
Posted September 26th, 2007 by AleckApparently there is some debate going on as to what location Resdent Evil 5 takes place in. As soon as I saw the first trailer, I thought "Hey, it's gonna take place in Hati. That's badass!". I've been reading lately that there is unrest over the fact that you are killing black people in RE5. This brings us to a larger point that I think many people are overlooking; Zombification is colorblind. It can occur in all races and social classes. It's the great socail equalizer. Granted, the Spaniards in RE4 weren't zombies, but in fact were being inhabited by giant parasites. However, it's preposterous to assume that Hatians would be immune to Las Plagas based solely on the color of their skin. It seems that Capcom is hesitating to say for sure what country it is, but what difference does it make if it's Hati or Uganda? So I urge you, don't view Resident Evil 5 as killing black people, but instead look at it as an opportunity to make a difference in a third world country.
